Seán Ó Conaill

Penryn Dental Practice, a family dental practice based in Penryn Cornwall.

Sean undertook his dental training in University College Cork from where he graduated in 1991.The following years were spent in General Dental Practice both in Kent and London, where he owned his own Family Dental Practice for a number of years. This time was shared with hospital based work where he worked as a Clinical Assistant in the Restorative Department based at the Maxillofacial Unit, St.Georges Hospital, London.

Sean has been interested in Restorative Dentistry since undergraduate days and was awarded the Irish Dental Councils Conservative Dentistry Prize as a third year dental student. Continued learning always featured and an early connection with the Eastman Dental Institute, London, resulted in Sean completing his Certificate Course in Restorative Dentistry in 1997.

A commitment to further development saw a return to full time education in 2002 based again at the Eastman Dental Institute. A year later Sean completed his Master of Science Degree in Restorative Dentistry, which was awarded with a Distinction.

This is maintained with regular training locally in the Uk, Europe and the United States.  This is in addition to his Clinical Supervisors role at the Peninsular Dental School.

Sean has considerable experience in treating patients, continually addressing both routine and more complicated cases. He is well trained and experienced in Restorative, Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry.

In 2005 Sally, Sean and their young family returned to Sally’s home town of Falmouth where life continues to be busy with three children.
